Head – Systems Architecture & Product Management, Aruba
Bharath leads the World-Wide Systems Architecture and Product Management functions for the Edge Infrastructure Systems Group (EISG) at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). He’s currently driving the market adoption of HPE’s pioneering new product category called “Converged Edge Systems”, specifically designed to tackle the challenge of collecting, rapidly analyzing and managing the enormous quantities of data being generated in Industrial IoT, Enterprise Edge or Media Edge environments. Apart from these HPE Edgeline products, Bharath is also responsible for the HPE Moonshot family of workload optimized high-efficiency servers targeting use cases such as Hosted Desktops/Workstations, Media Processing. Big Data and High Performing Computing (HPC).
Over his 12-year career in HP/HPE, Bharath has worked on over 20 products in roles ranging from hardware design to program management. Prior to joining HP/HPE he was involved for several years in the design of avionics systems for spacecraft. He’s a regular speaker at industry events, most recently at Aruba Atmosphere 2016 and National Instruments Days 2016 in Singapore, Japan and Korea.
Bharath graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Duke University (USA), where he was a Fuqua Scholar. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from NTU (Singapore), and a Master’s Degree from the University of Adelaide (Australia). In 2010 he was elected as a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) USA, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
